technology law team of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce ( CIBC) as Senior Counsel and he also served as Director, Strategic Sourcing reporting to the Chief Purchasing Officer and assisting
in the management of the bank's worldwide procurement of information technology, corporate services and products. In addition,
Chris led a task force on the legal and business issues associated with electronic commerce and Internet business strategies.
This facilitated the implementation of CIBC’s information technology strategy and helped it to exploit trends and opportunities
in the marketplace.
Before CIBC, Chris Koressis was Legal Advisor-Contracts for Royal Bank of Canada and prior to that he worked for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General as a legal advisor to the Chief Judge of the District Court of Ontario (now called the Ontario Court of Justice) in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada.
Chris Koressis received a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Laws from McGill University in Canada and was called to the bar in Toronto, Ontario in 1984.
